"The goal is not to make psychotherapy "faster".

Psychotherapy is about slowing things down - so we can begin to serve and understand the pattered that otherwise happen quickly, without rifle lion or awareness".

The goals of psychotherapy is to insert spaces for reflection where they have not previously existed and thereby create opportunities to know ourselves more fully, connect with others more deeply, and live more con greatly".

Get peace with the past

Trauma based events, specially those occurred in early years may negatively impact our present relationship with the world, and with ourselves. We end up selling us short on whatever opportunity life presents to us. People may have history of loss, abandonment, and mistreatment. And what may be traumatic for some individuals may not be for others. Sometimes it is difficult to pinpoint a "negative" situation from our early years that could be affecting our responses in the present. People experience fear, depression, identity issues, low self-esteem and self-worth, distrust in others, lack of faith on selves, dysfunctional relationships. All these are symptoms. But also, bodily functions are affected due to response to trauma or stress, feeling "low", "heavy", "tired", like the energy is taken away. Our job is to provide the holding space and help you develop and incorporate the tools and techniques to achieve a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle. At Soul Praxis Therapy you will get the foundational work necessary prior to start the processing and resolution phases. The first building blocks include physical interventions, somatic preparation, and "slowing down".
